Privacy Policy

Who we are
This policy explains how Rankaleey (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information submitted through this website, principally via our proposal/enquiry form. If you have any question about this policy or want to exercise any of the rights described below, contact us at info@rankaleey.com.
What we collect
When you submit our proposal/enquiry form, we collect:
- Full name (required)
- Business name (required)
- Email address (required)
- Service you’re interested in (required)
- Phone number (optional)
- Whether you already have a website, and its URL if so (optional)
- Details about your project or enquiry (optional, the message field)
- Your consent to being contacted about your enquiry, which you confirm by ticking the consent checkbox before submitting
We also automatically record which page or pricing option prompted your enquiry (for example, which service page, location page, or pricing tier button you used), and the date and time you submitted the form. This helps us understand your enquiry in context and respond appropriately — it is not used for advertising or profiling.
How we use it
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry and provide the proposal or service information you requested. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Where it’s stored
Submitted enquiries are stored in this website’s WordPress database, hosted with Hostinger on UK-based servers. Access is restricted to Rankaleey’s site administrators via the WordPress admin area — it is not publicly visible or accessible.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t go on to become a client engagement are kept for up to 12 months from submission, after which they are deleted. If your enquiry becomes a client engagement, we retain the relevant information for as long as necessary to provide our services and meet our business and legal record-keeping obligations.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated to describe what’s in use and, where required, we will ask for your consent first.
Third parties
We use the following third parties to help run this website and respond to enquiries:
- Hostinger — our web hosting provider, who stores the website and its database on our behalf.
- Email delivery — enquiry notifications are currently sent using our website’s default email sending. We plan to move to a dedicated email delivery service in the near future; once that’s in place, this section will be updated to name the provider.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct any information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Request deletion of your information, where applicable.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe we have not handled your information properly. You can reach the ICO at ico.org.uk.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@rankaleey.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example as our tools or processes change. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date above.
